Jonathan Gottschall’s academic research has been mainly dedicated to delineating the intricate role of storytelling within the context of human evolution. Indeed, is the ability to invent that has played a pivotal role in the rapid and profound evolutionary trajectory our species has undergone.

If there is something that distinguish us from our housemates on the planet Earth, it is our unparalleled adeptness at fabricating narratives and anticipate the future, towards horizons that can sometimes seem disconcertingly far. Since a large part of our lifespans is inevitably expended telling stories - to the others and to ourselves - perhaps finding a way to do this in an eclectic and interdisciplinary manner while making the best use of the tools of the post-digital era, can be deemed a worthly endeavour
